Infinite Direct : A Plethora of Opportunities to Have Fun and Give Back to Those Less Fortunate

sarah-weberby guest blogger and Infinite Direct account executive, Sarah Weber

One thing that’s been rewarding about working here is the opportunity to be involved with philanthropy and organize our own charity events. As an organization we have made our goals clear: we would like to raise $15,000 for Operation Smile in the year 2015. The best part is that there are no rules to how we can achieve this– we have the opportunity to implement and see through our own ideas to raise money.

Whether it is game night, a lip sync battle, or VIP clubbing in Manhattan, it has been an endless bucket of creative and outside the box thinking that a passionate individual like myself can really thrive under.

I had the honor of completing my own event, Dine 2 Donate at Houlihan’s in Bridgewater, earlier this year. We spent the night hanging out with friends and family drinking and eating and generated over $3,000 in sales. Hard work, huh?
With an excellent foundation and a little encouragement, it has been a pleasure to be actively involved with philanthropy and giving back to the world. It has been eye opening to learn how easy it is just to do so—there are countless practical ways to raise money for charity while also having a blast.

On May 29, 2015, the well-known and trendy Marquee night club in New York City opened its doors to Infinite Direct and BluMarc in support of Operation Smile. With DJ EDX spinning, half the ticket sales were donated to Operation Smile and our company was provided with free bottle service. We danced the night away and had a blast taking photos in front of our customized step and repeat banner. For a small donation, we provided club goers authentic Polaroid photos. The night was a success and we raised almost $1,000 for charity.

The things that can be accomplished with a good team will never cease to amaze me. Coming into this business I expected to find a career. Yet, I have found so much more than that. I have found a lifestyle of working and playing hard that involves gratification not only pertaining to my success in business, but in a plethora of opportunities to have fun and give back to those less fortunate. I have found that the amazing, ambitious and hard working group of people I work alongside of every day have become my friends and family, and together we are going to not only shape the future for ourselves and our families, but under the wing of an incredible organization, we are going to change the world through charity and volunteering.
I encourage you to follow Infinite Direct on Facebook and stay up to date on our upcoming events.

Hundreds Attend For A Night Of Lip Sync Battles and Fundraising

The week of May 17th, marked a great weekend for an awesome cause. Not only was the Infinite Direct team down in Baltimore for a business conference, but we also attended a lip sync battle held in Towson, MD that Saturday.

The proceeds generated that night went to Operation Smile, an organization that helps children in third world countries get the medical attention they need to repair cleft palates or any facial deformities.

The event was held at CVP’s, a local restaurant in Towson, Maryland with over 100 people who attended the event. Collectively from the night, $4,000 was raised for Operation Smile. The proceeds generated during the night came from purchasing food, drinks and a cover charge for attending the event.

Highlights from the nights performances included acts like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball.”

Overall, it was a great way to meet new friends and network with future business partners while we contributed to Operation Smile’s cause. All in all, we would say it was a huge success and one incredibly fun time!

Dine2Donate with Infinite Direct and Blumarc Big Success for Operation Smile

By Sarah Weber

Dine2Donate Infinite Direct Blumarc 1Blumarc and Infinite Direct have big plans to raise money for charity this year. Specifically, Operation Smile, a nonprofit organization that provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe. Some of these children cannot eat or speak and have never been able to smile before. So we asked ourselves, what can we do to help?

On Thursday, April 9, 2015, Infinite Direct and Blumarc had the pleasure of joining our friends, families and neighbors for our Dine to Donate fundraiser. Everyone came together at Houlihan’s bar and restaurant with one similar goal in mind: EAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!

The task was simple: Order food & drinks  — Show the Houlihan’s server the charity flyer — Portion of the check will be donated to Operation Smile.

What easier way is there to raise money for charity then enjoying a night out and delicious meal with family and friends?!

The event was a success, drawing a crowd who ate and drank their way to over $2,000 in sales, doubling our goal! We raised over $300 which will help at least 1 child smile!

You, too, can help to make a difference and provide smiles to children around the globe.

Don’t forget to stay tuned and join us for our next fundraising event.

Infinite Direct Pleased To Announce Another Promotion To Assistant Manager — AnneMarie

Infinite Directs Assistant Manager at Donald Boyers Birthday Celebration at the Frying Pan in New York City

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Annemarie attended Arizona State University as a business major. After school, she decided to live abroad in Spain and Germany in order to learn, teach and travel. Once back in the states she started in a corporate position where she saw some initial growth but eventually felt stagnate.

Took multiple photos to create this animated gif of Annemarie and her team on the day of her promotion at Infinite Direct

“I wanted to work for a company where I knew I would be investing my hard work into a position I could grow. That’s ultimately why I started with Infinite Direct and my growth has been exponential.”

Since starting at Infinite Direct in an entry level position Annemarie has advanced into a management position where her main role is to train and develop others in order to create growth for the company as well as their Fortune 500 clients. She has been a part of a team that has grown into 9 new markets nationwide for multiple clients.

Her goals now are not only to continue to expand into new markets for the clients but to be a great coach and provide opportunity for others. “The president and managing partners have been great mentors to me. I work hard every day to be that same great example for my team. That’s not to say I haven’t had any struggles because I definitely still have things I’m working on. However, constant dedication to self-improvement is what has really been a key factor in my progression and ultimately makes me more relatable as a coach. I had to learn that focusing on progression over perfection is what was going to help drive my career forward. So far our team has helped create hundreds of jobs across the country and we cannot wait until we bring that number up into the thousands!”

Infinite Direct and the team is proud to work with driven individuals like Annemarie and we’re excited to see her career flourish as a part of our organization.

Infinite Direct Wins A Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Award

best-place-banner-2015-glassdoor-infinite-direct Infinite Direct is pleased to announce that we are among the winners of the seventh annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards, a list of the Best Places to Work in 2015.

Unlike other awards there was no self-nomination process, instead it’s entirely based on feedback our employees have voluntarily and anonymously shared on Glassdoor. To determine the winners of the awards, Glassdoor evaluates all company reviews shared by employees over the past year. This year, we are proud to be recognized among an elite group of companies that have less than 1,000 employees. (See what other companies won in the SMB category: Glassdoor Best Places to Work 2015.)

A huge thank you goes out to all our employees who took the time to share their perspectives on what it’s like to work here.

We appreciate all the valuable feedback as it only helps us to get better.

Below are just a few words employees shared on Glassdoor that contributed toward the award and that made us feel incredibly honored to be recognized:

“Exceptional amount of OPPORTUNITY, financially and personally. –Allows you to learn to be the best version of yourself. ”

“It is a great experience working at Infinite Direct, I have been learning a lot of new things and making friends here.”

“It doesn’t feel like work; I’m learning management skills, how to effectively run a business, and be consistently at my best. I get to network with the most successful people in the company. There’s limitless room for growth.”

“I’ve been able to travel all over the country. I’ve seen more personal and professional growth while doing this than anything else I’ve ever done. This company has taught me the benefits of hard work and overcoming challenges. I also believe that we’re going to have a lot of growth the next year and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
